Temptations....

Recently during conversation with a young person they opened up about a temptation. They were embarrassed, it was difficult to say it out loud, but they chose to be vulnerable and admit a temptation that they want to be set free from. Wow! What courage for a young person! We all have some sort of temptation... you know, that thing you go to in boredom, or out of stress, or just cause you feel like what’s the point anyways.

Lets look at Jesus. In Matthew 4 and Luke 4 it talks about when satan tempted Jesus. Did you hear that? Even Jesus was tempted! We serve an amazing God that was fully man and can sympathize with us. Knowing Jesus was tempted means, we can be sure that we will have times of temptations. Jesus could have listened to satan as he gave good reasons as to why Jesus should give in, but Jesus followed with the perfect truth... the Father’s living word. Jesus keep His armor on so He could fight satan with the word of God!!! Do you keep your armor on? Do you know the Father and His word? It’s never too late! Lives are changed through Him... say yes! Be patient! And be confident He will far exceed your expectations if you trust Him! You will be spiritually alive ❤️ much love and blessings
