Feeling sorry

Feeling sorry for someone... what good comes from that? Should we?

When I was about 10 or so, I was told that my mom’s death was not an accident. I was 5 when my mother passed... she committed suicide. A couple thoughts went through my mind for a while. I liked the first version. It was simple and nothing else to be said after you told someone you didn’t have a mom. The truth was extremely painful and I never wanted anyone to feel sorry for me!

If we feel sorry for someone how is there any benefit in that? Maybe it’s not that we are to feel sorry for someone, (after all, feelings lie) it’s that we’re simply supposed to pray for one another from a genuine love.

We must continue seeking the Holy Spirit that lives in our very body.... He is working everything out for a masterpiece that has no words... our spirit knows what our flesh cannot explain.

Much love and many blessings
